Surrounded by wine and its creation everyday has inspired both the subject matter and more importantly the media of Melissa Proudlock’s art. In the last 5 years Melissa has established herself as a wine artist. The colouring media (wine) exhibits many practical challenges to all artists but she has used her particular daily environment to her art’s advantage. The winemaker provides Melissa with a number of different lees and natural sediments from the process of wine making for her to employ in her art.
